Health is literally a state of mind. (Mind is beyond -- but uses -- the brain.) One who thinks healthy thoughts becomes healthy in due time. (Healthy thoughts are those in accord with the Universal heartbeat.) Of course, that may take years or lifetimes; but do not be discouraged for there is really nothing we can do but live each moment that we see before us, in the most selfless manner possible. (Altruism puts us in sympathetic vibration with the Universe.) Disease, therefore, is ultimately a process of liberation from wrong thinking. (Accordingly, only those who use the power to heal [helping others realize wrong living] for the sake of their fellow being - taking and seeking no personal reward - can manifest a permanent change from dis-ease to health.) Be healthy, selfless, and altruistic. (Be a part of the cure.) -- PNT
I swear by Apollo Physician, by Asclepius, by Health, by Panacea, and by all the gods and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will carry out, according to my ability and judgment, this oath and this indenture.
